eAGLe® 3 colour programmable beacons are offered through Federal Equipment Company in their range of enclosures and mounts.

The beacons comprise solid aluminium bases (either pole or flange mount - above, left), core electronics and LEDs and clear glass Fresnel lenses.

The beacons have embedded PIC® microcontrollers to monitor, control and coordinate their operation.

The beacons comply with the relevant standards ( CAP168, ICAO and FAA) for lamp colour and signal timing (e.g. Morse identifier) but not light output.

Programmable Location and Identification Beacon:

  • High brightness flashing beacon - 140W peak LED power (<20W average)
  • 15 user selectable flash patterns and 3 intensity levels programmable with on-board switches
  • Identification beacon patterns compliant with ICAO, CAA, FAA and Transport Canada
  • Programmable Morse code flash pattern compliant with CAP168
  • Automatic sunset/sunrise switching
  • Self diagnostic capability with alarm relay output
  • 12 or 24V DC operation (ideal for battery installations with solar or wind-turbine charging)
  • User field-upgradeable software (via USB and self extracting code) for enhancements or special requirements
  • Wireless control, monitoring and operation built into the basic unit
